Dancehall sensation Ishawna is looking forward to her upcoming performance on Sting 2014 after brilliant performances at the blockbuster stage shows West Kingston Jamboree and Ghetto Splash in recent weeks that wowed dancehall audiences.
“I am really looking forward to this event. Sting has a special energy, and I am coming hard. Mi plan fi gwaan wid a crocus bag a tings. I know that the fans are really feeling my Need Love and Restraining Order singles, and I will be going all out to please them,” Ishawna said.
Ishawna’s Need Love video was featured on the hip hop website wordstarhiphop.com in December. Several thousand persons viewed the video, and that is sure to give it a boost for the Christmas season.
The video, released earlier this year, has racked up more than 240,000 views on YoutTube since its release, and the song itself topped two ethnic reggae charts in the United Kingdom.
“This year, 2014, was the best and worst year of my life, and I am looking forward to what 2015 has to offer,” she said.
Ishawna’s dancehall hits, Crybaby and Restraining Order on the High Life rhythm, have each racked up over 100,000 views on YouTube. She has released two new singles, Domesticated on the Tribute rhythm and the sexually charged You Alone on the Champagne Bubble rhythm.
She is booked to perform on three shows in the UK in February 2015 alongside Demarco.
